Intrusion detection focuses on the monitoring of system and network activity for any anomalies. Intrusion prevention would allow us to perform agreed-upon actions to block any activity that has been confirmed as malicious.

Similar to a home burglar alarm, an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) monitors a system or a network for malicious activity. Once such activity is detected, an alert is generated for further review. An Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) can not only detect anomalous activity, but can also take actions to block it.

What are our offerings?
Our intrusion detection service involves installing an IDS tool on your network. Our analysts can log into the tool via an encrypted Virtual Private Network tunnel to review the logs on-site. Alternatively, the IDS logs can automatically be encrypted and sent to our secure location for off-site review.
